I had a client surprise me this week. He finally scheduled a meeting after ignoring my requests for quite a while.

So I asked him, what changed? He laughed and said, ‘My coworker is retiring at 55… and I’m jealous.’

I laughed and told him I appreciated the honesty! So we sat down, reviewed his current plan, and asked one simple question:

What would it actually take for him to have that option? We looked at savings, investments, timing, and the trade-offs.

And the good news is that early retirement is possible with some adjustments and intentional planning.
