Your 401(k) Isn’t Enough For Retirement. Here’s why.

It’s not 401(k) versus IRA… it’s 401(k) plus IRA.

Video transcript:

If you’re only using one of these for retirement… you’re probably missing out. Let me show you.
This is your 401(k). It’s like a work-issued backpack — you don’t pick the style. Your job gives it to you.
BUT — some companies drop free money in here. That’s your match. Take advantage!
You can stuff a lot in this backpack — up to $23,500 a year, or more if you’re over 50.
The downside? You’re stuck with whatever investment choices are allowed in the plan — and sometimes, they’re… meh.
Now, this? This is your IRA. Totally yours.
You get to decide what goes in here — ETFs, mutual funds, maybe even individual stocks. You’ve got more control.
But there’s a catch: smaller space. You can only contribute $7,000 a year if you’re under 50.
So which one should you use? Honestly… most people need both. But almost no one is taking advantage of them in the correct way.
If your retirement plan feels like a jumbled tote right now, let’s sort it out!
